Flight from Colorado Springs to Oshkosh 2005 with Roy.

Roy in Formation

We left Sunday morning and flew to Baraboo, WI, same as two years ago.  Walked to the Casino next to the airport and had dinner.  This was definately the hottest, most humid night of the trip.

More Clouds

Very pretty.  At this point we could see we were beyond the clouds with clear sky ahead so we could relax.

Flying between the Clouds

Roy in Clouds

There were several T-storm buildups we had to fly around in Nebraska.

Campsite

Flew in relatively early Monday morning from Baraboo.  Not too much traffic.  Our parking spot was pretty good, only about 6 rows of airplanes between us and the old Control Tower.

Plane Camping

This time flying in they let Roy and I both fly together at Fisk.  We both landed on the same green dot on the same runway, Roy first then me.  Roy pulled off the runway to the left and I started to follow when I was directed to turn right.  They then had me taxi about 2000 ft one way, changed their minds and had me taxi 6000 feet the other way, wait about 5 minutes to cross the runway I'd just landed on, then taxi about 6000 feet on the other side of the runway to parking.  After I'd tied down the plane I started to call on the radio to see where Roy was when he walked over... from his spot 1 plane away.

At Campsite

Monday night there was an impressive thunderstorm.  In fact Winnebago County was under a tornado warning.  Tent survived very well again.
