Purposely flew the plane into some pretty light rain (while circling directly over the airport) to see how things went. Engine seemed unaffected, both ignitions continued to work without any problems. The front of the canopy sealed well and the sides didn't leak, but on the back left where there is a gap the rain makes a 180 degree turn and shoots straight up against the inside of the canopy. Rather odd airflow. Will have to add weatherstripping there.
