Flew over Mt. St. Helens

Flight Time: 1.8 hours ... Total Engine Time: 57.0 hours

Build Time: 0.0 hours ... Analysis Time: 0.0 hours

Replaced main tires with a much flatter trailer tire, actually rated for highway use. Checked prop torques. Changed oil and filter.

Since Scappoose isn't very far from Mt. St. Helens I thought I'd check it out.

Lots of trees and other inhospitable landing areas here... I was a little nervous about the engine.
That is Mt. Adams in the background.



This is at about 10,000MSL.



Really the pictures don't do it justice. I've been there on the ground quite a few times before, and seen many videos and aerial pictures, but seeing it in person is definately more impressive.
