Flew around St. Helens again

Flight Time: 2.0 hours ... Total Engine Time: 76.8 hours

Build Time: 0.0 hours ... Analysis Time: 0.0 hours

The weather was too good not to go flying. Flew around the airport for a while for the heck of it. This is the Trojan Nuclear Powerplant just north of the field.

While the weather was excellent at home and good at the airport, Kelso just to the north of Scappoose was socked in a sea of clouds.

And lastly I decided to make a circuit around Mt. St. Helens to see how it looked with all the fresh snow.

Got up to 11000MSL right around the mountain. Pretty warm out really at 43F.

I established a 200-300fpm descent with constant throttle for the 20 minute flight back (at 120mph) to Scappoose. It was interesting to watch the engine RPM slowly increase as the air got denser.
