Installed Aeroflash nav/strobe/position lights on the metal wingtip. Removed the fiberglass tip to gain access, and took it home to grind off the old strobe mounting 'bulge'. Mounted the Aeroflash strobes with a 0.025" backplate for strength. Mounted both strobe power supplies behind the seats, using the old strobe wiring (in what must have been my luckiest moment for the last decade, the new Aeroflash and old Kunztman strobes actually use the same shape connector, wired the same way - I was able to just unplug the cables from the old p/s and plug them into the new ones).
