Reinstalled the engine on the plane. Found that the oil pressure sender is broken. Special ordered a new one from Seattle. Tried to start the engine but found that the main battery, which I had put on charge the day before, wouldn't supply any current (but was at 13.8v!). Jump started the engine with the truck and it started immediately. Sounded kind of rough (and loud... no muffler installed yet) but very smooth when I switched to the 2ndary ignition so I just need to adjust the timing. Oil pressure idiot light shut off after engine started but since I don't have actual pressure indication I only ran the engine for a few seconds.
