Flew to highest airport in U.S.

Build Time: 0.0 hours ... Analysis Time: 0.0 hours

Flew to Leadville, CO, the two-mile high 'city'.

The airport is at 9927MSL and claims to be the highest airport in the U.S. Today the density altitude was 10500MSL. The Zodiac used about 1/3 of the 6000 ft runway, but definately climbed pretty slowly.

On the way home, hoping the Stratus keeps running.

Tested out the new Lightspeed "Cross Country" cheap ANR headset I bought ($265). As advertised, the headset has very good passive noise reduction (better than the Peltor 7004's I have) and ok ANR (not as good as the Headsets, Inc. modules in my 7004's). The result is less engine noise but more wind noise. I'm really not sure whether I'd rather wear the $450 Peltor+Headsets,Inc or the $265 Lightspeed headset.
