Flew to Crested Butte

Flight Time: 4.2 hours ... Total Engine Time: 258.2 hours

Build Time: 0.0 hours ... Analysis Time: 0.0 hours

Fuel both tanks and headed for Crested Butte. Fairly bouncy day.

This is Black Mountain, the sort of mundane mountain you'd find in, say, Vermont (except the top of this one is at 11,600 ft).

This is the type of mountains you get in Colorado. Climbed to 14,000 MSL again to cross Monarch pass. It was a hot day today... OAT was around 40F. Density altitude = 15,600MSL.

This is a lousy picture of the Crested Butte ski area. Picture is bad due to reflection in the canopy from a chart I had open.

Landed at Gunnison Regional Airport (GUC) to buy fuel on the way home. They came out and took a picture of the Zodiac, then scoffed at the 6.5 gallons of fuel I bought (I declined to fill the wing tank at their $2.63/gal.... it is $1.95/gal back home at Meadow Lake Airport).

More pretty mountains on the way home.
