Current Progress

Pictures of the Rudder, Elevator, Horizontal Stabilizer, outer wing panel and center wing/landing gear are available now.  Sorry about the weird purple colors, Fred Meyer's film processing managed to wreck my negatives.

An aerial view of the pieces of the elevator.  This is after everything has been drilled and assembled with clecos and then taken back apart.

This is the internal skeleton of the horizontal stabilizer.

Fitting the skin to the frame was somewhat tedious.

This is the completed horizontal stabilizer, shown upside down.  The three attachment points can be seen.  A closeup of the rear attach point is shown below.

Lots of rivets here! This is the rear bottom attachment for the horiz stab.
