Current Progress Part 10

RADIATOR.JPG (16255 bytes)This is the interior after adding the carpeting, fabric and 'upholstery'.  Turned out nicer than I thought it might.  Still have to make a 'boot' for the control stick.

Here are the alternate and main battery after having been moved to the baggage compartment.  The battery solenoid on the right is attached with riv-nuts.

Here I am underneath the baggage floor installing wiring and stiffeners while desperately trying not to collapse the aft fuselage.

Test fitting the wings.  This was the 2nd time the left wing had been on and the first time the right wing was on.  Found that the ailerons were too long by about 3/8".   Drilled out the end rib and trimmed the aileron down and reinstalled rib.

Weight and balance time.  First time with most everything in place.  Used two $50 non-electronic bathroom scales under the main gear and an electronic one for the tail.

Almost forgot to install the prop and spinner for the W&B.
